Introduction
Established in 1988, Old World Timber Flywire Doors and Screens is a local manufacturer of hand-made heritage style hardwood timber doors and screens.
We service all of Greater Geelong, the Surfcoast and Bellerine Peninsula. We can also freight and deliver doors outside the local area.
Each single renovation and restoration project is different. Each door frame has its own unique dimensions and depth. Each front door has its own distinct pattern or style that you want to enhance, not cover over, with a flywire door. This is why each door is individually measured and custom-made to order.
Our price includes a free measure and quote, as well as free delivery to Geelong and surrounding areas.
Our doors are hand-made from carefully selected high quality Australian Hardwood.
We have a range of six styles to choose from, and styles can be tweaked and adjusted to suit your specific requirements.

Old World Timber Flywire Doors and Screens was established in 1988 by Daryl Pobjoy in his home town of Geelong.
After being the first couple to renovate in Gurr St, East Geelong in 1986, Daryl found it very difficult to find the finishing touch for the front of the house: a functional, hard-wearing, heritage-style flyscreen door to keep the flies at bay during summer.
Daryl saw an opportunity to make timber flyscreen doors that matched the heritage style of the local neighbourhood. Since then, Daryl has hand-made and installed many doors in the Greater Geelong region. Daryl has established the business on quality handcrafted products and personalised customer service.
